1/4 oz Gold Maple Leaf, backdated
Die Maple Leaf Goldmünze ist eine kanadische Anlagemünze. Der Name rührt vom englischsprachigen Begriff für das charakteristische Blatt des Zucker-Ahorns auf der Münzrückseite her, dass auch zentrales Element der Flagge Kanadas ist.
Seit 2013 trägt die 1-oz-Variante ein zusätzliches, per Laser-Verfahren angebrachtes, optisches Sicherheitsmerkmal. Neben dem Stiel des Ahornblattes ist ein zweites, sehr viel kleineres Ahornblatt, eingelasert. Im Inneren des Blattes sind die letzten beiden Ziffern der Ausgabejahres sichtbar. Die Beschriftung der Münze ist, aufgrund der Zweisprachigkeit der Kanadier, Englisch und Französisch.
Die Produktion der Maple Leaf Goldmünzen startete 1979 in der Royal Canadian Mint.
Ein Faktor, der bei der Beliebtheit der Maple Leaf Goldmünzen eine große Rolle gespielt hat, war das Thema der Apartheit in Südafrika, das für viel Aufruhr gesorgt hat. Viele Länder entschieden zu der Zeit, den Kauf der Krügerrand Goldmünzen einzustellen. Stattdessen wollten die Kanadier eine Alternative auf den Markt bringen und so entstand die Maple Leaf Goldmünze als zweite moderne Anlagemünze der Welt.

You are guaranteed the price at the time of your order. You will find a summary of your order in your mailbox immediately after placing your order. Also, there is the option to print a summary at the end of the order. We always ask for prompt payment.
After receipt of payment, the items are immediately assembled and packed on camera. Afterwards the dispatch takes place as insured package. We will send you a mail upon receipt of payment. Another mail will be sent to you upon shipment with the shipment number/tracking number. Please check that the shipment is sent directly to you.
Upon receipt of the shipment, check the integrity of the packaging. In case of discrepancies take photos and notify us. The shipment is insured, so you do not bear any risk of loss and theft.
GVS is a global leader in high security storage. If you already have a storage number, you will be asked to specify it before checkout. A new storage contract can also be opened at any time. Silver, Platinum and Palladium can also be stored in a duty-free warehouse. In this case, your purchase is exempt of VAT.
